Let me change the pace here a little bit. I'd like share some snaps from my first Fuji Speedway experience. Back in August I had a rare opportunity to visit my first live GT race during Blancpain GT Series Asia event. This was also the beginning to my first trip to Japan so assault on my senses was through the roof. It was a real experience overload! My good friend Chris aka LeicaPorter and I got media passes for the event gaining close access to the event and chances for some really cool shots. I mean these GT series cars are something special. Basically supercars on steroids. Love it! Plus watching the crews up close working in heat of the moment on these machines was fantastic!
I absolutely loved every minute of my first Japan trip and I'll be happy to share some pics from the rest of my time there soon but for now take a look at some of my favourite snaps from Fuji Speedway.
The main image here I took walking around the grid just before the race start on Saturday. Although it was very busy around me I managed to capture a quite clean frame of the super cool GT3 Audi Hong Kong car. I spotted a potential for a nice image and decided to put some effort in editing. After spending quite a few hours working on it I created the image below. I hope you like it!
